Max wasn’t just any ordinary book; he was hailed as the town’s revered guide to all things mathematics. His crisp pages were a treasure trove of equations, theorems, and problem-solving strategies that had unraveled the mysteries of math for countless students.

However, amidst the bustling library atmosphere, Max found himself wrestling with a peculiar sense of despondency. It wasn’t the ink on his pages or the numbers that troubled him; it was a persistent feeling of melancholy, a weight on his spine that seemed to grow heavier by the day.
